Kemuda Institute elects new members to student council

KEMUDA Institute recently held a ceremony for handing over duties to its new student council members.

The guest of honour was Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Muhammad, Executive Chairman of Kemuda Institute, where he expressed his appreciation to the student council committees of 2014 for their hard work and unfailing contribution to support all students and the college as a whole.

The event, which took place at Kemuda Institute in Beribi, also saw the new members of the student council taking their oath.

In her speech, Angella Conilla binti Latip, President of Student Council 2015, thanked the college for trusting her along with the other eight members of the student council for Kemuda Institute Bandar Seri Begawan Campus. Amarah Nazurah binti Yahya was also elected as the President of Student Council 2015 for the Kuala Belait Campus.

A total of 18 committee members of the new student council will undergo several training to enhance their interpersonal and management skills. The skills acquired will be an added advantage for them as it can be applied in their working environment later.

Also present at the ceremony was Managing Director of Kemuda Institute, Pg Haji Masri bin Pg Haji Othman, who presented certificates of appreciation to the student council committees of 2014.
