KEMUDA Institute held an orientation day to welcome new students for the April intake of 2023 on its campus in Beribi. During the one-day orientation, the new students are being introduced to the institute’s procedures, facilities and also providing them with the opportunity to meet with the campus administrators, staffs and senior students from KEMUDA.
The program began in the morning with the arrival of new students and attendance registration. Followed by a brief emergency evacuation. Before the orientation starts, an opening prayer was recited by Vice President of KEMUDA Institute Student Council, Mohammad Haziq Afiq Bin Hj Mohammad and proceeds to sing the national anthem shortly after.
Mohammed Khairy Yusrin Bin Haji Abdul Salam, the Principal of KEMUDA Institute spoke in his welcoming remarks about preparing the students for the journey in their study along with the introduction of what KEMUDA is about as well as its goals. The briefing from the orientation also touched on the institute’s rules and regulations to ensure the new students can adapt to their new environment.
An introduction to the committees of Student Council was delivered by the President of KEMUDA Institute, Nur Fathen Izzati Habibullah Binti Mohamad Zulshofiyan. Throughout the day, a number of fun-filled games and activities were organized during the ice-breaking session. This will allow students to get to know each other and make them feel comfortable about their first time entering a new college. They were also briefed on the courses and was given a tour of the institution. The orientation concluded with a gift-presentation ceremony to the students and a closing prayer. A group photo was taken afterwards.
